What a great story starter is Marc Levin. His willingbness to go and ask the people and report them sweeps over us like a brilliant piece of evening air. What a contrast to the many public purse pedlars who can't seem to help themsleves to demonise one group or another - missing the point week after blatant week without one once of idealism to stop the stultification that dulls the Wests great pointed vision of what exactly it should be vigilant about .
Marc's compilation of open questions and Mike work was topped off by sharing his father with us and the stories of the men from prison. What a magical moment to hear those those blokes from prison make the most sense and remind us we are ultimately one and we owe it to one and everyone to teach forgiveness. Lets urge SBS to show it again . Do it again mate ---it was great!

Avoid being tied up with the lowest form of science
What do we do with those who make miracle claims.
Some basics: For me , the sense of miracle, not like the sense of God most times , is very personal.
Nothing hits you when you have a sense of miracle than the difficulty of explaining it to others – after all, its your experience ---at least in large measure . And we forget and doubt quite naturally . For most of the time its " where is God when you need Him?"
Clearly though God is wiser than us ; wise enough to not stand there visibly while we treat him like mum and reason like children . He's not our mother He doesn't pick up after us - at least not that we can rely on . he's there but only when he's invited - that's His story anyway!!!
The best examples I know of miracles are ones where the miracle happened to someone I know . As a result of seeing it from a distance I too share a sense of wonder much greater than they do about all the coincidences.
One day I’ll put a few in writing.
BUT he's another angle - the big picture of cosmology .I'm not the first to say it Einstein said it .
I am in a general sense of wonder that the one who could tweak the nuons and quarks should do it with such incredible precision as to be so personal. The numbers fit Oxygen ,nitrogen and Carbon are the very best of mates - why aren't we?
Is not the testimony of experience of humans that we are made in our Creator’s image ? We love to create . Alternatively, if the determinist are right, we are doomed to depression.
Either way, I think , JUST like the blind man Jesus healed , most did not want to know about " what was really happening" to that other person .Despite being loud and getting lots of people to defend him, and share his knowledge , the wider elements of audience wanted to shut him up .
Somethings in the media are very predictable . The challenge is to avoid focusing on them alone ! After all the lowest common denominator is not good science either.
Remember too, that our secular prophets say we are in denial about determinism --and rightly so. – There is , in reality , a lot of things to wonder about ----- if you are prepared not to close the door of the mind / heart on them.
